About the Gravois Park Neighborhood

The Gravois Park Neighborhood, originally a German and Eastern European immigrant settlement area, is defined by Cherokee on the North, Chippewa on the South, Jefferson on the East and Grand Boulevard on the West and is surrounded by the neighborhoods of Marine Villa, Dutchtown, Tower Grove and Benton Park West.

The Gravois Park neighborhood is primarily residential, with commercial strips down Cherokee and neighboring Chippewa, Meramec, Grand and Gravois. Housing stock in the neighborhood consist mostly of single family, two and four-family flats and some larger multiunit complexes. The geographic location of the neighborhood puts many conveniences right in the palm of its residents, from walkable distances to grocery stores, public transportation, restaurants and other retail establishments. Beautiful Gravois Park in the center of the community is a focus point of activity where children and neighbors congregate in good weather.

The booming Grand South Grand business district, also just a few blocks from Keystone Place, offers many unique and highly-visited restaurants with a Thai and Vietnamese flair, along with other great establishments like a new wine bar, martini bar, Italian and French restaurants, and other attractions. Street improvements along Grand Blvd. promise a picturesque entrance into the community.
